We seek to conduct our Missions to:

- Use the resources provided by God to fulfill the great commandment
to love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:39)

and love one another as Christ loved us (John 13:34) by going out into the world
and spread Christ's love through works of faith.

- Do as John Wesley taught …

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can"

Global Missions

Once again our primary focus is through UMCOR Advances:

Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing - Rise Against Hunger’s meal packaging program is a volunteer-based initiative that coordinates the assembly-line packaging of dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables, and 23 essential vitamins and minerals. Participating in this program affords Trinity the opportunity to be in a hands-on international hunger relief program and to become educated, engaged advocates for the world’s hungry.

UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) - Connection is at the core of our work with UMCOR and Global Ministries. It connects The United Methodist Church, its people, and congregations to partner with others engaged in God’s global work, which takes place in a variety of settings, countries, and cultures including here in the US. Global Ministries works through missionaries and partners in more than 60 countries around the world. The following are illustrative of the United Methodist missions supported: Eastbrook Mission Barn; Erie UM Alliance; Red Bird Mission; UMCOR Advances for: Disaster Fund, Grace Rural Health Clinic, World Hunger and Poverty.

Trinity and United Methodist Mission Support At Work - In 2019, we started a microloan program in Guatemala with the help of friends from the Western Pennsylvania Conference of the UMC. This program assists several groups of women in rural areas. When we meet the women, we talk about the “Parable of the Talents,” and why it is important to use the talents and gifts that God has given each one of us. Both Lulu and her husabnd, Rich visted our local Trinity UMC and shared photos and stories of their missions in Guatemela in 2024.

Any or all of the ministries shown can be supported through gifts to Trinity Church.

Thank you for both your gifts and your prayers.
